I wanted to let you know that I received your package. When I was opening it I didn’t know what to expect. To say that my jaw hit the floor in surprise is putting it mildly. I am so very pleased with everything. They are so beautifully handcrafted that for once in my life, I am speechless. The darning eggs are incredible and the workmanship is superb!!!!! And the nostepinnes are works of art which belong in galleries! I can say this because my son is a woodcrafter too and I know what it takes to turn out a fabulous piece. I am not only going to use these with great pleasure but when they are not in use, they will have a special place on my mantle for all to see as decorative pieces of art! And what truly sets both of you apart for other craftspeople is that you took a very tragic situation and turned it into a positive one not only for you but for our great pleasure as well. I consider it an honor to own a piece of Katrina. These pieces will always remind me to count my blessings and when I am faced with extreme difficulties, I will think of you and your courage and how you rose above the ugliness of Katrina’s devastation and created something beautiful! I’m thrilled to help you both bring these pieces into the homes of others who I know will appreciate them as much as I do.
